OPTICAL SCANNING FOR PRECISE TOOL POCKETS
Protex uses a unique multi-dimensional optical scanner to obtain dimensionally accurate digital files of your hand tools. Our engineers then lay out your design using our proprietary software which creates a 3D computer model of the insert. We use CAD/CAM technology to program each insert which is then cut on a CNC router. Our scanning technology coupled with the precision of CNC means that each pocket contour is perfectly sized every time. We offer a variety of fitment options and you can choose whether the final fit of your tools is tight (press-fit), standard (0.5mm offset), or loose (1mm offset).
CNC LASER SERIALIZATION & CUSTOM BRANDING
Whether you’re running a small shop or an ISO certified 5S lean manufacturing facility, our precision CNC laser engraving can help you positively identify which tools are in use and which tools are properly stored in their respective pockets, right down to the part or serial number.
